Intro to Fiber Arts Week 3: Intro to Hand Sewing

This week with my K-2nd students, we learned how to sew by hand. We used yarn and monks cloth to draw with our yarn and make pictures!  Hand-sewing teaches many important skills including knot-tying and hand-eye coordination when threading needles (which, they learned is needed a lot when sewing).

These artists did a great job learning a new skill and sticking through the challenges they came across while sewing their projects.
