Beginning Machine Sewing: Sewing a Stuffed Bear

 For our last machine sewing class, we created our own bears using this pattern and inspiration from Warren the Charity Bear : https://www.shinyhappyworld.com/2014/04/warren-charity-bear-free-teddy-bear-pattern.html

The creator of this pattern wanted to create an easy-to-sew bear to make, customize, and give away.  Students loved created their own bear, choosing the special features, and learning how to use safety eyes and noses!  

This project taught many different skills including cutting out a pattern, using pins, sewing curves, hand sewing, using safety eyes and noses, using polyfil stuffing, and embroidery.
