In week 2 of beginning machine sewing, we worked hard to finish up our pillowcases, and everyone learned a lot on their journey to become a great machine sewer!
Sewing projects and hiding the seams inside takes a new way a thinking that we are all still learning, but the students made some great functional pillowcases. I even heard one student exclaim “Did I buy this from the store? No, I made it!” 😊 This is a great group, and I really appreciate their willingness to help each other out when they get stuck or need help.
After finishing up our pillowcases, we started on a stuffie project, and each student is customizing their own bears. This should be an adorable project when we finish next week.
